PORCH PIRATES PAINTED!
Recently YouTube sent a video my way that proved to be both amusing and shocking! I know nothing about the producers of this video and others that have followed, but they had to have spent much time, materials and money to so effectively teach a great many thieves a lesson they will never forget.
Packages delivered to the front porches of homes lie in plain sight until the owners arrive from work or elsewhere. Visible from the street, they tempt passersby who, in this video, did not resist the urge to grab the box or carton and make a run for their vehicle to escape. Ordinarily, their method of operation may have worked well, but not in this video!
Inside the house, the owner watched while a thief crept up on his porch, swiped the package and began the run to a waiting car or truck. Sometimes the box exploded in their face while they were still on the porch, belching vivid yellow, green blue or purple paint ball goo all over the thief and porch!
At other times the thief made off like a bandit to his or her car, only to have the package explode and cover the perpetrator AND their vehicle with paint! Paint often covered the pavement where the thief stood, only making his footing insecure and leading to a fall in the paint!
Surprised and shocked by the unexpected shower, the 'victims' covered with bright paint often came back on the porch to yell into the RING camera next to the closed door. What they shouted was threatening. They cursed the hidden home owner, while their three most frequent screams were: "You've got to be kidding!" "This is insane!" "This is harassment and I'm calling the police!"
Jeremiah said,"The heart is more deceitful than all else and is desperately sick; who can understand it?" The thieves proved this to be true over and over again as they cursed the home owner!
While the thieves were to blame for their paint predicament, some called the police as though a crime had been committed against them. Unrepentant sinners put the blame for their mess on the home owner, only to have handcuffs applied in some cases because video evidence proved their thievery.
What a preview of hell this video is! Sinners who refused to bow at Jesus' feet and repent of their sins to receive forgiveness and eternal life will come to their senses in hell and recognize where they are. They will scream and accuse God of betraying or tricking them! Guilty as they are, they still will blame God for their being in hell to endure the suffering God designed for the devil and his angels.
They will not acknowledge that their own sin put them in hell; that it decided their eternal destiny! They died unrepentant and they will persist in their anger and rebellion against God even in hell. All the while, they will undergo torment and pain inflicted by demons, yet railing against God. Their hatred for Him will know no limits!
That behavior and attitude in miniature is what I witnessed on the video of the porch pirates being exposed for what they are! Some were dressed to the nines, but couldn't resist grabbing merchandise from the porch anyway...and as a bonus they gained a ruined outfit for their gambit.
Others dressed poorly received the same paint payback for stealing. They were just as vocal and cursed just as vehemently as the wealthier-appearing people did. Evil is evil regardless of how it is clothed.
It would seem, then, that the anger folks spew in hell will go on forever, but God has a different plan. Someday every sinner in hell, rich or poor, slave or free, white, brown, yellow or red will stand before the Great White Throne judgment seat where Jesus will be seated at the judge's dais. Great books that catalogue their every action, spoken and thought word, motive and attitude will be brought out to reveal each sinner's entire life. His works will be exposed before the watching world. He or she will no longer be able to hide what they really are: their sins. The books' records will speak for themselves and exonerate God and Jesus from all responsibility for their being in hell.
But that is not the end. As each sinner is shown to be guilty of breaking the laws of God, Jesus will say, "Throw them into the fire!" and every one will be tossed like trash into the lake of fire that will burn forever and ever without end!
So, there are paint ball porch pirates who do not own their dishonesty, and there are souls in hell who blame God for their condemnation, but Jesus will let their own record established while they lived on this earth speak for itself. Payday isn't until Friday, folks, but it is coming! A choice still remains to repent from sin and to cry for mercy before Jesus. He will forgive and transform you. But you must make the first admission of your sin and do it now. Jesus died to redeem you 2000 years ago. It is your turn now!
